It is indeed a great loss to the Pratisthana and to the Mathematics loving people. Prof Inamdar was a great teacher, administrator and organizer. Due to his hard work and dedication, plenty of students in Pune and surrounding areas have been benefited in their endeavour of Mathematical science. I hope the Bhaskaracharya Institute of Mathematics, alias, Bhaskaracharya Pratisthana will survive this great loss and will move ahead with enthusiasm to achieve the dream of this great teacher.

May his soul rest in peace and may the Almighty give strength to his family and friends to cope with this irreparable loss.

I had no idea that Professor Inamdar had passed away. Though I did not know him very well, he impressed me as a gentle, modest and very transparent person, and I am sorry to hear that he is no more.

I am very sorry to learn about the demise of Prof C.S. Inamdar. I had met him a few times in BP. He steered the institute through difficult times after the departure of Prof Abhyankar. That is a significant achievement and we shd all be grateful to him for that. I recd Manjusha's message late in the evening and also dont know his residence, so I couldn't visit the place last night. May his soul rest in peace.
